module-text tb_6o8o405    \">\n            <div  class=\"tb_text_wrap\">\n    <p>The Biogalenys laboratory carries out <strong><em>transcutaneous permeation or non-permeation studies<\/em><\/strong> in line with the OECD 428 guidelines.<\/p><p>Thanks to its expertise, Biogalenys <strong>supports you to put in place the appropriate protocols for your research programmes. <\/strong><\/p><p>Transcutaneous permeation studies are carried out using Franz cell membranes with either fresh or frozen human skin samples (0 \u2013 24h or 0 \u2013 16h or kinetic study).<\/p><p>The analytical methods used (HPLC-UV-DAD, HPLC-MS-MS, GC-MS, etc.)\u00a0are developed and validated within our laboratories.<\/p><p>Estimates are achieved within the different layers of skin (stratum corneum, epidermis, dermis) and (receptor fluid).<\/p><p>Depending on the galenic formulation, we determine the composition\u2019s influence on the cutaneous absorption rate (solvent, co-solvent, accelerator, excipient, active ingredient concentrations).<\/p><p>In order to compare permeation rates in terms of differences in composition, and to measure flux, the studies can be carried out using the following types of filter membranes:<\/p><ul><li>Hydrophobic (Millipore FGLP HVHP, MAGNA Nylon, FGLP, PTFE)<\/li><li>Hydrophilic (GH-Polypro, polyamide, anapore)<\/li><\/ul>
