Cosmetic products are subject to European regulation, particularly in relation to any preservatives they may contain.
When they are put on the market, their ingredients are stated and the efficacy of their preservation system is challenge tested.
Following this, it is up to the laboratory that owns the brand to ensure that the product is always manufactured in the same way and that its composition is stable while consumers are using it.
